Presenters
Alison de Wit, RN, BSN, MAL is a Clinical Nurse Specialist with Stroke Services BC. She is a Registered Nurse with 10 years of experience in the field of stroke. She has a special interest in the emergency management of stroke and is passionate about finding was to support the delivery of high quality, evidenced based care to persons with stroke, their families, and caregivers.
Vivien, Cao, BSc(Pharm), PharmD, ACPR. Vivien is a clinical pharmacy specialist in neurology at Vancouver General Hospital and works as part of the interdisciplinary Stroke team. She completed her Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy at University of British Columbia in 2017, hospital residency with Lower Mainland Pharmacy Services BC in 2018, and her Doctor of Pharmacy at University of Alberta in 2019.
